HistoryThe business began in 2013. An educator by the name of Vincent Huynh found a need in the city of Compton where students who were attending a public school were struggling in areas like Math, Reading, and Writing. Vincent did not have an efficient office space at the time to tutor some of the students. He then decided to offer In-home tutoring where he traveled from home to home. Quickly, kids around the neighborhood began hearing the rumors about a tutor who had a passion for teaching and the price he was charging was close to nothing. In only a few months the kids who received tutoring weekly were getting good results from school and their grades sky rocketed. Vincent then decided to look for an office space where he would design a system that would help students learn more effectively. Finally, that day came and the Four Square Learning system became reality in the city of Torrance, Ca. The system has been proven to produce the results that parents and students want in school.SpecialtiesFour Square Learning Centers is a facility that is designed strategically to help students K-8th learn more effectively based on Common Core Standards. We utilize our teaching methods to enhance the child's learning, while keeping the content challenging and fun. Each individualized center will serve as a key component to enhance student learning. Our learning system is built to accommodate visual learners, auditory learners, tactile learners, and independent learners. We use reinforcement strategies through intention-focused practice to build ownership and responsibility. This segment is followed by an extensive evaluation to give you and your child constructive feedback to help them wherever they need improvement and affirmation. One of the greatest benefits your child will receive here at our learning center is that we actively communicate with their current homeroom teacher on a bi-weekly basis.
