History
Our business started in 2008 when owner Andrew lost his job in the tech industry. Known to friends and family for making the best Tri Tip Sando around, Andrew & Susie decided to make a go of it and starting doing a street fair in the wine country as a hobby. A labor intensive food booth drove them to find and easier way and that's when the Tri Tip Trolley was born. A trolley converted into a food truck became an icon in Sonoma County. As business demand grew, a second trolley was born. In 2016, after a elimination process, the Pryfogle's were chosen to be the ones to occupy the space they are currently in with their Wine Country comfort food concept. Opening on June 6th, 2018 the restaurant is filled with locals and tourist for the ultimate in fun, delicious dining. Come check us out for yourself!
Specialties
Andrew and Susie Pryfogle launched their first Tri-Tip Trolley in 2013, serving their famous Tri-Tip Sandos and bowls to the masses all over the Northern California Wine Country. The Tri-Tip Trolley was the launching pad for our first brick-and-mortar restaurant, which opened in June 2018. Featuring amazing creations, we're serving up the most unique menu in the valley. Inspired by New Orleans flavors, but paired with fantastic locally produced ingredients, masses are now showing up at TIPS Roadside to experience Wine Country Comfort Food. We have a full bar serving house-made craft cocktails and also brew our own craft beer. TIPS Roadside is bringing a little bit of comfort to Kenwood. Wherever you're from, welcome home!
