History
The Washing Well was the second coin laundry built in SF (the first is now a Wells Fargo branch on 24th St in Noe Valley). sfwash bought it in 2004. We installed five new front load washers in early 2011 and all new dryers in late 2013.
Specialties
The Washing Well is a clean, well-maintained laundromat in SF's Inner Richmond District. It is designed so customers can get in and out of the laundromat in less than an hour. There is free wi fi and an ATM. In 2011 we installed Dexter Express washers. Not only do they run a complete cycle in under 25 minutes, but they spin at extra-high speed so your clothes are practically dry before you even put them in the dryers. In late 2013 we installed new Dexter dryers.
