The Villa Park Orchards Association grew up with the citrus industry in Southern California. It was organized in 1912 by a small group of growers in east Orange County to harvest, pack and market their citrus fruit. The association has 350 members with acreage extending from Southern to central California. Harvesting approximately 4 million field boxes of citrus annually, it operates packinghouses in Orange and Fillmore, California. Its products include Valencia oranges, navel oranges, blood oranges, Minneola Tangelos, ruby red grapefruit, star ruby grapefruit, oroblancos and pummelos.
