This Salvation Army location offers a variety of church events, social services, Meals on Wheels, and corps programs, as well as a senior residence facility. Social services include daily lunches and dinners, ESL classes, immunization clinics, case management, women's shelter and substance abuse referrals, suicide prevention counseling, summer camps and more.
The senior residence allows for independent living with access to laundry facilities, a family room that includes a large-screen television and pool tables, and access to seminars and education. It hosts such activities as Bingo, game night, movies and sing-alongs. The building has 43 apartments, which are all equipped with a stove, carpeting, blinds, and a patio or balcony.
