History
The Palms Playhouse started as a community theater and concert venue in a rustic barn in Davis, California in the 1970s. Over time, The Palms became known as a formidable music venue where big names in folk, Americana and blues came to play in a small, comfortable environment. The venue moved to the historic Winters Opera House in 2002, and maintained its reputation for bringing top-notch, award-winning music to the Sacramento Valley. New owners (and longtime Palms concertgoers) Nora Cary and Andrew Fridae took over in 2016. We are committed to preserving the caliber of the music and the unpretentious, welcoming environment. We look forward to meeting you at a show!
