History
The Golf Club at Rancho California (formally known as SCGA Golf Club), is known as one of the finest competitive venues in golf, has carried a storied history since its inception in 1970. Designed by legendary Architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., who is known for several championship designs in California such as Mission Viejo CC, Valencia CC and Spyglass Hill in Pebble Beach, the golf course was opened for play 1971 as Murrieta Golf Club.
