The Art Glass Guild, founded in 1998, is a sister concern of the Art Glass Association of Southern California. It is a studio with a 17-inch Jen-Ken kiln used for fusing and slumping of glass and has a glass cutting system, wet grinder, Gryphon wet saw and foil and lead cutting and burnishing tools for making stained glass and mosaics. It has more than 35 members making and selling fused, blown and slumped glass, torchwork beads and jewelry, mosaic art, sandblasted and etched glass, stained glass, cast glass, wire-wrapped glass and 3-D glass. Its product line includes individual glass beads, bracelets, necklaces, layered wall art, flat glass, etched wine glasses, blown glass bowls, vases, fused light switch covers, knobs, hanging light pendants, wall sconces and paperweights. It is one of the largest glass studios in California and is headquartered in San Diego.
