The Tom Bradley International Terminal Equipment Company (TBITEC) is a California Not-For-Profit Company formed by Member Airlines of the Los Angeles International Airport. TBITEC is responsible for constructing, installing, operating, and maintaining select airline equipment and systems, as well as providing other operations, maintenance, and support services to the airlines at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, West Gates, Terminal 1.5, and Terminal 5 of LAX.
Originally established in 1982 as LAXTEC, TBITEC's mission expanded in 1996 to include assuming the responsibilities of the Foreign Airline Operators Committee. With a focus on maximizing safety, security, service, operations, and cost performance, TBITEC represents member airlines in a unified and cooperative manner, working towards the best interests of the aviation community at Los Angeles International Airport.
