The Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing social and emotional support to youth in the Sonoma Valley Unified School District. Since 1996, they have paired school children with caring adult mentors who make a significant impact on their lives through one-on-one school-based mentoring. With a focus on addressing the social and emotional needs of their mentees, the Mentoring Alliance also offers optional after-school programs and career discovery outreach to create opportunities for success.
With a commitment to ensuring high school graduation and future plans for their mentees, the Mentoring Alliance has maintained a 100% graduation rate over the past five years. They currently provide mentors for 325 students across all eight K-12 public school campuses in the Sonoma Valley, as well as local charter and private schools. Through their dedication and empowerment, the Mentoring Alliance aims to help youth thrive in life and achieve their goals.
