Processing and marketing the products of more than a quarter of California s rice-growers, Farmers Rice Cooperative is a grower-owned rice-marketing cooperative. It seeks to maximize its more than 900 members returns, manage their investments and provide customers with high-quality products and services. More than 70 percent of its rice is marketed domestically to clients in the cereal, packaged food and brewing industries, while its exported products are distributed to countries such as Japan, Turkey and Jordan. The cooperative also offers its own branded products in Hawaii, Guam and the Pacific Islands.
