Summit High School is an educational institution that is governed by the Fontana Unified School District, which operates more than 45 elementary, middle and high schools and alternative and adult education centers. Established in 2006, the school serves over 1,900 students in grades 9 through 11. It offers a variety of college preparatory, advanced placement and general academic programs. The school provides elective courses in various subjects, including automotive technology, virtual business, advanced choir and culinary arts. Summit High School offers a range of sports activities, such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cross country, tennis, soccer, wrestling, golf, and track and field. The school also operates art, fashion, guitar, poetry and environmental clubs. Summit High School, located in Fontana, Calif., additionally provides meals, medical care and guidance counseling.
