Summerkids offers 3 programs, for children from 3 to 14 years of age. Summerkids, grades K-6^th, Summer Challenge, grades 7^th, 8^th and 9^th and SK-PreK, for children age 3 and 4. The camp was founded in 1978, and is situated on a 57-acre property adjacent to the Angeles National Forest. The children have access to beautiful meadows, a stream, lodge, cabins, pool, garden, sports fields and more. Summerkids is unique in that the campers choose which activities to take part in instead of a specific program to follow. More information can be found on the website at www.summerkids.net

The organization specializes in the provision of no-charge summer camp catering toward children suffering from heart disease.
