History
I started my practice after completing a fellowship on the intersection of health and law with a focus on elder care issues. After law school I began working out of my friend's parent's extra office who also had a family practice of probate, trusts, and estates. I eventually took over and with time the practice grew and we are now one of the East Bay's highest rated and most popular estate planning firms. We love what we do and are looking forward to working with you.
Specialties
My clients are polite strategic planners who want to protect their families and assets. We would work together on estate plans, probate and trust administration/litigation and premarital or postmarital agreements to accomplish these goals. My clients hire me because they want to: 1) Avoid paying unnecessary legal expenses (attorney fees, taxes, court fees, etc.), and 2) Take an active role in planning for their families future by not leaving important decisions to chance or default legal rules. We avoid these outcomes by preparing (wills and trusts), guardianship agreements, premarital agreements, completing adoptions and working together through complicated probate or trust administration and litigation issues. I am often referred by family members or friends who are concerned that someone is taking advantage of a client's age, disability, or offering them an unfair settlement in a dispute regarding a will or trust. I offer flexible office hours and meeting locations to support my client's goals. Kids are always welcome. My satellite offices are in San Francisco, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Palo Alto, San Ramon, Sausalito, and Pleasanton. When necessary, I am open to meeting clients in their homes.
