Founded in 1911, Southwestern Law School an independent, nonprofit, nonsectarian institution that offers more than 130 courses to students. The school s elective curriculum includes a variety of courses and seminars. It also provides classes in business, entertainment, criminal, environmental, health care, family and tax laws. Southwestern Law School operates a library that includes a collection of books, reference sets and resource materials. In partnership with Children's Rights Clinic, the school provides representation services to low-income children in the areas of school discipline, special education and other education-related issues. It is accreditation by the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association. Southwestern Law School maintains a location in Los Angeles.
