The best thing about this place was certainly not the food, but a painting of the late Pope John Paul II nestling in the bosom of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Why didn't he ever use his time-traveling...

Tiny spot on 16th, run by the nicest older lady. They usually aren't open past 7, so it was a nice surprise to step off BART today at 7:15 and saw the sign out. Knew I had to give them a try....
