Established in 1986, Social Model Recovery Systems is a multifaceted social service organization that provides mental health care and alcohol and drug addiction treatment services through various locations throughout Southern California. Social Model Recovery Systems offers United Coalition East Prevention Project, also known as UCEPP, a community-based alcohol and drug prevention program that emphasizes research, assessment and innovative approaches to inspire social justice and positive change. It provides treatment for codependency, anger management, mental illness, and domestic and workplace violence. The organization offers day-long treatment and individual and group counseling programs, as well as conducts social and recreational activities. It additionally provides education, training and consulting services to organizations throughout California. Social Model Recovery Systems maintains a presence in Covina, Calif.
