The store has been in business for over 40 years and is the creator of the Pioneer Plaque that was displayed on the Pioneer spacecraft. According to wikipedia, this spacecraft "was the first spacecraft to travel through the asteroid belt, on July 15, 1972, and to make direct observations of Jupiter." Customers can purchase a replica of this plaque and have a little piece of history that was created right in San Carlos. Precision Engravers and Trophy shop has expanded to do everything from signs, plaques, name tags, and awards to trophies and unique gifts. They work with wood, plastic, aluminum, brass, and silver and do jobs for the commercial market as well as the industrial, medical, and residential. They also offer free estimates.
