History
Sinfonia Mexicana, a non-profit organization has been thrilling audiences since 1985 its mission is to foster the awareness of Mexico's symphonic musical masterpieces, and educate the public about the music and culture of Mexico. Interested members of the community are invited to become involved in Sinfonia Mexicana programs. Mexican folkloric music is enormously popular and world-renowned. Over the past 28 years Sinfonia Mexicana has presented a variety of special performances by outstanding ensembles from Mexico and Southern California. Sinfonia Mexicana introduced a Mariachi Youth Academy in February 2009 at the Sturges Center for the Fine Arts in San Bernardino. Middle and high school students learn instrumental and vocal techniques, as well as music theory and reading music, which may be applied to any style of music, especially mariachi. The Youth Academy also has a performing group that has plays at venues throughout Southern California

Sinfonia Mexicana has been Producing Musical Shows in the Inland Empire since 1985. Our most popular shows are the Mothers Day and Christmas events. We also operate the Sinfonia Mexicana Mariachi Music Academy for 9 to 19 year olds interested in learning to read music, play an instrument and perform.
