The Manny Silverman Art Gallery features mid to late-20th century American art, with an emphasis on abstract expressionism. The gallery is almost hidden from the street, set back at the end of a driveway. Artists represented here include Hannelore Baron, Michael Goldberg, Maxwell Hendler, Norman Bluhm, James Brooks, Robert Motherwell, Richard Pousette-Dart, Edward Dugmore and Sam Francis. The spacious gallery has mostly paintings, with some sculpture. Solo and group exhibitions are throughout the year. The gallery sells many publications of artists' works, and is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America. Owner Manny Silverman has been involved in the art scene of Los Angeles for more than 40 years, and originally opened his gallery on La Cienega Boulevard before moving it here in 1998.
