History
We began our westward expansion in September 2012, with the opening of a charter sales office at the San Jose International Airport (SJC) in San Jose, CA. In November of that year, a second sales office, located at the Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, CA, was opened. In early 2013, Meridian based our first West Coast aircraft available for charter at HWD. On January 1, 2014, Meridian signed a 50 year lease with the Hayward Executive Airport (HWD) with plans to build a full-service, world-class FBO and adjoining hangar at the airport. With many clients and aircraft operators already located in the San Francisco Bay area, it made sense for us to establish a presence on the West Coast. The facility features the services and amenities that discerning passengers and flight crews should expect to find when traveling through a Meridian FBO, including professionally-trained customer service and line service teams, an elegant main lobby, business center, conference room, and more.

Meridian Hayward is located at Hayward Executive Airport (HWD) on the San Francisco Bay. The airport is very friendly for business jets because there is no curfew and it is the only General Aviation-specific airport in the Region, with no commercial airline traffic. The FBO features a newly constructed 6,300 square foot terminal with support offices, a 30,000 square foot hangar and 3.5 acres of ramp area. We have professionally trained customer service and line service teams that are ready to greet to you upon arrival and departure. We are certified for IS-BAH, NATA Safety 1st, and NATA Safety 1st Clean. Meridian Hayward is the CAA Preferred FBO at HWD.
