It's unique and distinctive look was embraced immediately by contemporary boutiques in the LA area, with 45 stores picking up the line within the first month ... including retail icon Fred Segal (Santa Monica & Melrose). Stencil eventually grew to over 400 stores, expanding into multi door retailers M. Fredric and Nordstrom. In the Spring of 2006 American Idol contestants Chris Daughtry and Ace Young were seen by over 30 million viewers wearing Stencil on back to back nights.
