Kim's Hapkido has four schools spread out around the eastern realms of Los Angeles County. This South Pasadena location features a large training floor and an adjacent spectator area right off of the front entrance. Grandmaster Chong S. Kim, the studio's founder, is recognized as one of the world's foremost instructors and practitioners of the Korean martial art of Hapkido, as noted on his Web site. He is originally from Seoul and has more than 60 years of Hapkido study and competition experience. Kim's Hapkido describes a student's experience as a significant and rewarding step in acquiring, developing, and maintaining the necessary skills to compete and survive in today's highly challenging, competitive, and at times dangerous world. All ages, especially children, are welcome to enroll.
