Shane began with piano lessons at 5 and guitar lessons at 11. By the age of thirteen he was singing in his first band and by the age of 15 he was performing at clubs and colleges. At 21 his band The Creed recorded with producer David Jerden (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Offspring) and the band received air play on LA rock stations KROQ, and KNAC. Shane's band Life on Mars was regular headliner at Hollywood's Viper Room and the band was featured on KROQ's Jed the Fish show. Life on Mars recorded an EP in 1998 mixed by Stuart Brawley (Madonna, Michael Jackson). Shane released a full length record Shane
