Our mission is to honor the dignity of seniors by enriching their quality of life while supporting their independence and vitality. We promote their participation in all aspects of community life by providing opportunities for socialization, recreation, education, information, health and fitness. We have been providing seniors over 50 with opportunities for socializing, activities, classes, and special events to remain active and independent since 1980.
Specialties
The Auburn Senior Center is a self-supporting non-profit organization providing a wide range of activities and events for Seniors aged 50 years and older. We have opportunities for socialization, recreation, education, information, health, and fitness. Activities include: Aerobics, Line Dancing, Bridge, Greeting Card Craft, Cribbage, Walking, Mahjong, Men's Choral Group, Pinochle, Zumba, Stretch & Balance, Painting, Knitting/Crocheting, Ukulele, Yoga, Genealogy, Poker, Woodcarving, Bingo, Ballroom Dance, Square Dancing, AARP Safe Driving Classes, Theater Thursdays (1st & 3rd Thrsdy), Special Events, and Various Workshops. Foothill Seniors on the Go Travel Club: Local Concerts/Festivals, Panama Canal Princess Cruise (10 days), Hawaiian Princess Cruise (16 days), Giants Spring Training in Scottsdale, Az (4 days), Grand Canyon Railway Tour (4 days) and Mexico Princess Cruise (10 days)
