Selma's Chicago Pizzeria & Tap Room is one of two restaurants that were started in 2003, one in Rancho Santa Margarita and another in San Clemente. Deep dish pizzas are one of the many entrees that make this restaurant famous. Beer and wine is served at Selma's large bar, and sporting events are featured on the many large-screen televisions. Local artists' paintings are displayed on the walls of the restaurant and can be purchased by customers who are interested in them. Fresh salads, pizza, pasta and hot and cold sandwiches are served every day. Catering for any party can be custom-designed with just a phone call to the restaurant. The restaurant is named after Selma, the grandmother of Mike Phillips, who owns and operates Selma's with his partner, Eric Miller.
