Large amounts of old electronics sitting around can have significant impact on corporations, small businesses, local governments, and schools. Many corporations and nonprofits are trying to identify ways to dispose of used IT equipment in an ethical, environmentally correct, and fiscally responsible manner. San Diego corporations, local governments, and small businesses have an opportunity to donate used IT equipment to SDFF under its Computer and Electronics Recycling Program. With one phone call, businesses can arrange the pickup or drop off of unwanted items. We recycle computers, servers, monitors, printers, copiers, phones, faxes, and other test equipment or electronics. A recycler handles all items in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. The monies generated from these salvaged assets are used to fund SDFF programs such as intern training and educational programs for at risk youth and adults in transition. If you have old computers, monitors, TVs and electronics, also called ewaste, you can recycle it with the San Diego Futures Foundation and support the community at the same time. SDFF's mission is to help San Diego nonprofits, schools, and families through education and programs focused on technology.
