Schenck & Schenck Photography is located in the Goldstein Building on Indian Hill Boulevard between First Street and Second Street across from the Claremont Village Square. Husband and wife team, Steve and Barbara Schenck, began its photography business in 1977, using a 4x5 camera and photographing art for artists, museums and galleries. Today the couple provides a full range of photographic services from traditional prints, hand-developed in the studio darkroom to digital imaging and design.
Steve Schenck was trained as a photographer in the U.S. Navy and has a degree in studio art from Western Oregon State at Monmouth. Barbara Schenck has a degree in art history from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and is responsible for designing the studio's wedding and bar/bat mitzvah albums, magazine-style albums, specialty greeting cards and business cards for clients, as well as performs portrait retouching.
There is customer parking available in the rear of the building as well as ample, free public parking in the Claremont Village Square multi-level parking structure located off First Street directly across from Hotel Casa 425.
