Sandlot Stiks was formed by former professional baseball player, Chris Corso. Originally located in Cupertino, CA, the company was moved to Chico, CA and reformed in 2010 and incorportated as YAFUM Inc. /DBA Sandlot Stiks. Chris Corso teamed up with former professional baseball player Jon Macalutas in 2010 and the two installed a state of the art manufacturing facility for the production of wood baseball bats and various other turned wood components. The company has the capacity to produce 400 bats per day on their state of the art CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) equipment. Sandlot Stiks also utilizes a trade secret paint formulation BATLAC which increases the coefficient of friction of the hitting surface of the baseball bat. This technology is dubbed
