History
Originally called First Free Methodist Church of Pasadena, this historic church began over 120 years ago. After a fruitful ministry of launching churches and starting schools, the church came to a close in 2008. In 2011, a core group of Free Methodists formed to redeem the legacy of this church. Renamed Rose City Church in honor of the city of Pasadena, we relaunched our Sunday Morning Worship Service on September 18th, 2011 at 9AM. We are now thriving in conjunction with our goals: Our goal is to sustain the first Free Methodist Church in Pasadena. Our mission is to gather in worship, grow in Christ through word and table, and be sent to expand God's kingdom. Our vision is to see God's kingdom expanded by sharing the presence of Christ with our local and global communities.
