Robertson Community Park opened in 1966. It contains a group picnic area, picnic tables, soccer fields, riding arenas and stadium, horse trails, hiking and bicycle trails, restrooms, horseshoe pits and softball fields. More than half of the park's 133 acres was purchased from the Tobin family, which requested the park be named after their relative, Dr. John Robertson, an early Livermore physician who founded the Livermore Sanitarium.
