Red Robin began in the 1940s as Sam's Tavern. The name changed to Red Robin because of a song that the owner Sam sang in a barbershop quartet.
Today Red Robin is known for its gourmet burgers. Try The Original with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, mayonnaise and your choice cheese. Burnin' Love comes with a tangy salsa and spicy pepper jack cheese with cayenne seasonings. The Whiskey River is made with Whiskey River BBQ sauce, the Royal Red with a fried egg and applewood smoked bacon. Other options include the Bacon Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese, Peppercorn and Pub burger with ale-braised onions and mushrooms.
If you're not in the mood for a burger, there are also plenty of chicken, turkey and fish entrees and sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads. All plates served with bottomless steak fries. Drinks are basic shakes and malts. Adults enjoy margaritas, beer and wine. Everyone loves the desserts that include hot fudge sundaes, Mountain High Mudd Pie and hot apple crisp.
