Bulldog Stadium is a stadium located in Fresno, California on the campus of Fresno State University. Bulldog Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Frenso State Bulldogs. The stadium opened under its current name in 1980 with the construction taking just over one year at a cost of just over $7 million, $19.8 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 1991, which added over 10,000 seats.The Fresno State Bulldog are members of the Mountain West Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of red and blue. Their mascot is Time Out the Bull Dog. Past players include David Carr, Ben Jacobs and Marlon Moore.The stadium currently holds 41,031 fans. Currently, it is the 79th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record for fan attendance is 42,881.
