HistoryToscana was created out of Mike Gordon's dream of having his own restaurant. His passion was ignited by the inspiration of Doc Severinsen whose enthusiam for everything Italian led them to open one of LA's original Tuscan trattorias. Together they assembled the best team of Italian chefs and waiters who not only introduced the most amazingly simple Northern Italian food, but who taught all of us Angelenos how to appreciate their Italian way of enjoying food and wine. Today, the Toscana Restaurant Group is six restaurants strong. It includes Bar Toscana, Nerano and BG Lounge in Beverly Hills, S.Y. Thirty years ago, our co-founders, Mike and Kathy Gordon, traveled to Italy and spent months absorbing the culture, foods, traditions, and lifestyle they came to love in Tuscany. Armed with that knowledge, they opened Toscana, introducing the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles to the tastes of Tuscany. The diverse menu boasts pastas, fresh meats and fish, such as the signature Branzino, plus vegetarian and gluten-free options. Since 2004, Toscana has received the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its sophisticated domestic and international wine list. CATERING Toscana offers a variety of catering services, from contactless delivery of platters to sending our experienced staff and acclaimed chef to your home for effortless entertaining, including set up, clean up, floral decor, and rentals. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two, a casual backyard BBQ, an intimate, formal dinner party, or anything in between. Over the years, it has been our pleasure to cater weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, holiday parties, corporate events, and a plethora of other life milestones.
