2000: Therapeutic Riding - The walking gait of the horse duplicates the 3-dimensional movement of the human gait at the walk. Sitting astride a walking horse for 30-45 minutes stabilization on a mobile platform which improves balance & core and trunk strength. Those with brain injuries work on controlling impulsive behaviors or remembering sequential activities by participating in a simple reining pattern or obstacle course. 2009: Equine Services for Heroes is specifically designed to work with the needs of our wounded veterans and first responders. 2011: Equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning includes licensed mental health professionals using the EAGALA method for treating participants &/or certified equine-specialists in mental health and learning. 2015: H.E.A.R.T. (Helping the Equine and Rider Team) - individuals with disabilities & at-risk youth work with a horse & learn valuable life skills &/or leadership skills through riding & horsemanship.
