James Vernon Pullins purchased an existing bicycle store, Junction Cyclery, and operated under that name until 1923 when he changed the name to Pullins Cyclery. J V Pullins ran the business until he retired in 1984. Katy and Steve O'Bryan purchased Pullins Cyclery in January 1984 and have been the owners since. Pullins Cyclery is one of the oldest businesses in Downtown Chico and has been awarded
