The Portola Community Center has permanent tenants and community rooms available to non-profit organizations and community groups. Day-to-day operations are run by the Coachella Valley Recreation and Parks District, who is in charge of scheduling events and needs for the facility.
The center includes two community rooms, eight offices and two kitchens that are available for use. Tenants and users of the facility may utilize the resources of the center for free if they meet certain requirements. Applications for use of the center are all approved by the city and posted on a six-month calendar.
