Poinsettia Community Park is a public park located on Hidden Valley Road in Carlsbad. The 40-acre park has a large tennis complex, including ten courts with lights. Cannon Park

Cannon Park is a 1.7 acre park close to the beach. There is a basketball court, large grassy athletic field for playing softball or kicking around a soccer ball, a kid's play area with a sand lot, and a picnic area with a barbecue. The open space area is available for rental. Permits are required for groups of more than 25 and for setting up inflatable party jumps. No dogs are allowed in the park.
