The district attorney's job is to protect the safety of Napa County's citizens. Gary Lieberstein is presiding D.A. and his office includes a criminal division and a family support division. Criminals who violate the law, as well as sexual predators, gang offenders and environmental violators, are prosecuted to the full extent of the law by Mr. Lieberstein on behalf of the people of Napa. The district attorney's office also engages in a number of outreach programs addressing issues such as domestic abuse, working with the community to nip them in the bud.
