Pleasure Point Marina is the oldest continually operated marina in Big Bear, which opened in 1914 as Belt's Landing. In 1926 Ted Tidwell purchased the marina, changed the name to Lone Star Cabins and ran the business as a camp. In the 1930's cowboy legend Roy Rogers and his partner Ray Sharpe purchased the property and changed the name to its present name of Pleasure Point Famous for being a fisherman's favorite destination, it was purchased by the Pivaroff family in the mid 1970s. Nearing its 100th year, a group of the marina's neighbors, Ron Lerg, Don Nydam and Roy Brownie, purchased the marina and made it a full time membership owned marina. Pleasure Point Marina remains a favorite destination for fishing and boating. We feature a luxury fleet of pontoon boats as well as a full service bait house.
