Pizza Bowl seems to be the neighborhood pizza place. With its history dating back to 1981 in a different location, it is definitely a testament of its ability to satisfy local pizza patrons. It moved to its current location inside Lakefront Plaza in 1985 and transferred ownership in 1987.
Although located far from the street, Pizza Bowl's towering architecture becomes a beacon for pizza lovers anywhere. Anyone can see its name written in huge red block letters. Unfortunately, it is actually only one floor once you step in. The staff tries to make it a really fun place with arcade games, an air hockey table and a fish tank. What is not so fun is the $0.75 charge for debit card transactions. Pizza is not the only specialty, the sandwiches have gotten their fair share of fame.
