Piedmont High School offers college preparatory curriculum to students in grades nine through 12. The school has more than 25 full-time teachers, three full-time counselors, a librarian and a technology coordinator. The school offers advanced placement classes in various subjects, including biology, math, English, United States history, physics, chemistry and environmental science. Its art department provides classes in 2-D and 3-D design, and acting, dance and music. Piedmont High School s French and Spanish. It has a library that offers newspapers, magazines and scholarly journals covering all major subject areas. Piedmont High School is approved by the U.S. Department of Education National Exemplary High School and California Distinguished School. It is a part of Piedmont Unified School District and is located in Piedmont, Calif.
