Portwood Pier Plaza

Portwood Pier Plaza acts as a meeting place and park. Surfhenge is a gate to the pier and beach. An area adjacent to Surfhenge and in front of shops is designated for small children to play. There's also a large grass area for recreation, picnic tables and a stage. The plaza oftens acts as a meeting place for major events. The Farmers Market meets here every Friday 2-7:30 p.m. Fishers, surfers and chess players are regulars.
