Paperclip originally started working in the carpet cleaning industry helping owners of small companies schedule daily routes, provided customer service, ensure quality control on all cleaning jobs and collecting payment for work being done. While working in the cleaning industry Paperclip refined their services to be applicable to other industries. While they are still a heavy presences in the carpeting cleaning industry they have now migrated to servicing other industries such as landscaping and real estate.
