Established in 1926, Pacific Clinics is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of outpatient behavioral health care services. It offers comprehensive psychosocial therapy programs for people with biological disorders. The organization employs more than 1,000 personnel, including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, therapists, psychiatric technicians, rehabilitation counselors and administrative personnel. Its psychosocial rehabilitation care includes psychiatric evaluation and treatment, case management, crisis intervention, recreational therapy, vocational counseling and housing services. The organization also operates a training institute that provides training for its staff, consumers and their family members. Pacific Clinics, with a location in Pasadena, Calif., operates more than 70 facilities. It works with physicians, juvenile courts, probation departments and schools to develop cultural orientation programs for adolescents.
