PACE History & Mission PACE was founded in 2000 by Jason Dare with the goal of making learning both exciting and fun for students. With a background in psychology, Jason has made it a focus at PACE to offer a positive learning environment and experience for their students. Our dynamic tutors are assigned to a student and are trained to recognize individual needs ; these tutors work to engage the student, and motivate them to learn. Being privately owned allows PACE the flexibility to adapt and strengthen its program as educational standards and teaching methods change. Our staff continually adds curriculum to our original core program, Small Group Tutoring, challenging the students. The effectiveness of the program can be attributed to constant reassessment of a student's needs through assessment tests, parent & teacher reviews, tracking of report cards and standardized tests. As a response to changes in Academic Standards, Curriculum and the need of today's student, PACE has added new classes. Our Test Prep class for grades 3-8 was created so students with strong academic grades wouldn't be nervous or unprepared for Standardized Tests resulting in low scores that did not reflect their scholastic abilities. Our Advanced Scholars Program curriculum, focuses on reading and writing, which after years of experience with school children, we at PACE noticed was below standard in many students and other learning centers. Our $60 math class uses the Singapore Math Method to expose students to a different way of understanding math concepts. It's been over 10 years we've been serving our community, and we attribute the success of PACE to the consistent dedication of our teachers, parent satisfaction, and the continual academic achievements of our students.
