Eon Instrumentation Inc
EON Instrumentation, Inc is a small business, founded in 1961. EON has designed and manufactured Video Amplifier Splitters, Audio Distribution Amplifiers, Switching Power Supplies, and Electronic Blanking Units, and other Electronic Systems for the aerospace industry and the United States Armed Forces. EON products are used on many missile, military aircraft and armored vehicle programs. Commercial aircraft products include oven timers, pump timers, temperature controllers, and power supplies.Existing video amplifier products include a product line of video amplifier splitters used in aircraft and armored vehicles, a Ground station AGC-Video Amplifier System providing six separate video outputs driven from up to seven input modules of six video sources each for a total of 42 input sources, a Video Selector Amplifier System that enables users at two monitors to manually select and view information from up to six different video sources, a product line of Video Selector Modules that allow electronic selection of multiple video sources to be displayed at multiple video outputs, a Video Multiplexer that accepts up to five video signals and combines horizontal segments of the five inputs into one standard composite video format, and a product line of Video Distribution Amplifiers that amplifies and distributes RS-170 NTSC video. Recent platforms on which EON's video amplifier splitter products have been installed include aircraft such as the C-130, C-295, P-3 and F/A-18 as well as armored combat vehicles such as the Stryker.EON's audio distribution amplifier products include an Audio Control Unit which combines audio signals from four input sources into a single mixed audio output with independent volume control for each input, an aircraft Cockpit Speaker Amplifier, and an aircraft Cargo Area Public Address Pre-amplifier. Platforms on which EON's audio distribution amplifier products are installed include the P-3 and HC130J aircraft.Existing ruggedized power supply products include an airborne AC to DC switching power supply operating off 115 volts VAC at 400 Hz and providing +23 VDC, -23 VDC and +5 VDC outputs, an aircraft switching DC to DC power supply operating off 28 VDC and providing +24 VDC, +5 VDC, +15 VDC and -15 VDC outputs, and a product line of DC to DC power supplies developed for various ruggedized commercial and military applications. A number of additional switching DC to DC power supplies have been developed for specific aircraft, helicopter and vehicle applications. Recent platforms on which EON's switching power supply products have been installed include the CH-47 helicopter, the Bombardier BD700 Global Express aircraft, the P-3 and the C-130.EON has developed a product line of electronic blanking units that combine blanking pulses from strong transmission emitters to create blanking suppression signals to disable sensitive equipment's during such strong transmissions. The product line consists of both generalized and custom products and has been employed in aircraft, submarine and surface ship applications. Platforms on which EON's electronic blanking units have been installed include various naval ships as well as the P-3 aircraft.
