Located in Santa Ana, Calif., Orange County High School of the Arts is one of the premier art schools in the United States. The school is recognized as a model arts education program by the Department of Education and the National Endowment for the Arts. Orange County High School of the Arts is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school serves more than 1,350 students from 92 cities throughout Southern California in grades seven through 12. Established in 1987, Orange County High School of the Arts offers more than 11 art conservatories, including Ballet Folklorico, classical and contemporary dance, commercial dance, creative writing, film and television, instrumental music, integrated arts, music and theatre, opera and choral, production and design, and visual arts.
