The stadium opened as The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena on November 9, 1996 with the construction taking just two and a half years at a cost of just over $25 million, $177 million in present day dollars. The most recent renovation was in 1996. Currently, the Oracle Arena houses the Golden State Warriors.
