History
I began volunteering for MHALA while receiving treatment and services for mental illness-related homelessness. During the next 8 years, I became a street outreach specialist working with the homeless to get offer resources to get their lives back on track, I found a genuine passion to help others. I was hired as a Life Coach in 2008 and graduated from their homeless housing program in 2012 and have remained successful at life and managing my illnesses has been the key to why I am now the President of this fresh and new innovative approach to the homeless crisis we are currently facing in this pandemic. I began writing my articles of incorporation in 2015, I was fortunate to put it together and get legally ready for opening to begin the process of challenging the odds of recovery for the homeless population who seek a resolution to living off the streets. Together we can end homelessness and strengthen the community's economic development by securing their passage into independence.
